I'm Batman

Doctor, Doctor, tell me the news!

Shortpacked!: What?  No Doctor Spectro?

After what's probably been a number of months, I reassembled my bad guy shelf of JLU figures.  I'd removed all the Batman-specific villains when I got that MattyCollector set with Clock King, et al, and they've been sitting separated in a cardboard box since then.  And I got that new six-pack this month!  So it was time to put it all back together again.

...I'm actually not where where the contents of my good guy shelf are.  Maggie took it down to put up some of her new textbooks.  At some point, I'll have to dig those out and replace my Titaniums War Within display with them.  Some point soon.  But meh!  Bad guys are way cooler.

I'm sure you're all wondering who the hell the guy in today's strip is.  A month or so ago, my stepmother sent me a cardboard box full of various Batman stuff, including a bunch of old Batman comics, silver age through bronze.  And this guy, Johnny Witts, was in quite a few of them!  I guess in 1968 or whatever, he was important?  Anyway, if you want to get a feel for the Johnny Witts experience, just read the first panel over and over and over and over again.  Seriously, he's a broken record.  And I love him.

And there's little to no record of him on the Internet!  Sure, there's some empty wiki pages, but that's largely it.  But I bet I can bring him back!  Just like I brought back Robo-JOE!

(I have yet to actually bring back Robo-JOE.)
