Shortpacked! Super Awesome Auctions XTREEEM!!!1

We're not done celebrating last week's big 1-0! Today I'm auctioning the two strips that published on my tenth anniversary. The photo to the left displays the original art pages for the Shortpacked! strip that ran on September 10, 2007 and the Joyce and Walky! strip that ran on September 10, 2007. Both 10"x15" images were rendered on 14"x17" art paper with blue pencil and marker pens. Suitable for framing, both pages will arrive on your doorstep rolled up in a sexy mailing tube!

Sorry, there is no cleavage in this auction.

A while back, Graham and I managed to hunt down a rental DVD of Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever. ranks it the worst-reviewed movie in its database, with 0 positive reviews out of 102. Well, damn, we had to see that! (It didn't hurt that Graham has a man-crush on Antonio Banderas, who we were surprised to learn was either Ecks or Sever -- the packaging summary didn't bother to tell.) So, finally, we found a rental place that had it.

I don't recommend it. I know, I know, that should seem obvious. But the movie was way too abysmally dull to even be interesting in a "so-bad-it's-good" manner. There was some amusement in seeing "super awesome slow motion" used in totally wrong, seemingly random moments, and Ray Parks's acting is so bad it's laugh-out-loud funny, but largely it was a waste.

Honestly, the best part about the film is the credited name of the director. See, it's "KAOS." We had built up an elaborate mythology about this mysterious "KAOS" by the end of the film, only to have it torn down after watching the special features and learning that he's just some Asian dude in a hat.

Dumber than advertised! And that's a feat.
