I don't like politics with my comics.

In my opinion, that is what the editorial comics are for. Now, as far as I'm concerned, a person's health is pre-designated via DNA. But the choices that an individual makes: Environment, diet, exercise, etc; is also another factor when the DNA is kicking in. There are some diseases that are genetic, and some that aren't.

Now, that being said, I was trying to stay off of any bad feelings that some people may read into that paragraph as being anti whomever. You want bad feelings, go to an improperly managed nursing home and get irritated at the staff for treating patients like cattle. You want to discuss this, fine.

Now, as far as I'm concerned about the government. Don't even try to get me started. This whole country was based upon the capitalistic method of business. Wall Street was created damn near the same time that the Articles of Confederation were written. But if you think that having more people in the health care choice is going to make a difference, you've got another thing coming pal.

There is no way, that a decision by a third party (no governmental pun intended, just a description by me of people who interfere with health care outside of the doctor/patient relationship) will have in any way either to take care of the health of an individual or the cost of a treatment plan is ludicrous.

Now, for my soapbox. I am sick and tired of people trying to shove their point of view onto me. Now, you don't seem to be doing that, but that whole Insurance care business thing does. You've picked one needle out of a box as an example. Sure, the guy has been paying into health insurance for years. But the thing is, his progression has gotten worse, not better. Could it have been the previous doctors that he's seen, medications, or lack of because of current at the time medical knowledge, or even a harmful effect of a medication back then because of lack of knowledge of the side effects of a medication.

I just have to wonder what people would have done for this condition back in the first century, AD or BC. Now, I'm not going to run around like I'm some sort of expert, but I've seen some history documentaries about surgical procedures having been done back in those times.

Now, finally, as far as what you think is going to be a favorable change? Have you even looked at the last 20 years of the V.A. medical system? That is a government run health care system. At least with Medicare and Medicaid, a person can pick and choose among the doctors who accept that type of payment. (Doctor's who choose to accept is another argument. Look at the Cash for Clunkers.) Back in the 70s, Walter Reed Army Hospital used to be the best in the DC area. Don't know what happened, but it went down hill. And look at the Marion V.A. screw ups. What really pisses me off the most about the V.A. medical system, you can't sue the doctor's for their mistakes. And if a doctor makes a mistake, they'll just be moved around to make sure that the numbers don't get too high.

Makes you wonder what the Obamacare system will have against the Code of Hammurabi.

You come to my website and not expect to see my point of view?

I don't understand what you want from me. I mean, if my point of view is going to go anywhere, it's into the comics I write. I don't know if I can manufacture a point-of-viewless piece of fiction and/or art. Even the Family Circus has a point of view.

But, um, sure. Get mad at me for coming to my website of your own accord and reading what I think about things.

I seriously doubt that you've even read my post.

And for that matter, just how do you pay for said website? I know that you solicit funds for Joyce and Walky, but you also have ads on your website. Kind of the pot calling the kettle black issue there isn't it?

Oh come on, this isn't even good trolling. Can't you complain about the Homo Gay Agenda and then call everybody assholes or something?

Let's think about this rationally, I'm going to assume you've had this conversation tons of times with other people and that's why you're lashing out.

Your views on politics are your own, I'm glad that you're aware you can share them at anytime, as can the author, on his own website with his comics.

If you don't like it, don't read it. I find it sad that you feel you're entitled to ask him to change something he does for a living because you don't like it. Who/What gives you the right? How dare you sir, how dare you.

In conclusion;
