Hah, cool. I'm not so good with Diddy, but Pit I'm enjoying. Wario is fun, in his original outfit of course. But I mainly stick to Mario; I just wish they hadn't forced FLUDD in.

It's less anything against FLUDD, I just prefer the spin-attack there; frankly, I think FLUDD would've been nice as a general item anyone could use.

I really wish Luigi had the Poltergust as a parallel of sorts; after all, he's the one everyone's always harping on as a Mario clone, even with his own uniqueness mixed in.

Here's the thing about Pit. It's total C tease. Especially his stuff in Subspace Emissary Mode. It's all Nintendo saying. "No, we're not making a new Kid Icarus game. Nope. No plans to do so at this time, or in the forseeable future. Of course, if we DID make a new K I game, it would be totally awesome, wouldn't it?"

The Batman does not suck. People who never again want another Batman cartoon made after BTAS suck. I love BTAS and TNBA too, but I can't let them be the definitive, all time animated Batman.

I think most people who say it sucks never got past the first season, which did suck, a lot. I gave it a second chance almost by accident and was pleasantly surprised. Still not as good as the Timm/Dini series, but far far better than all the "kids collecting crap then battling through proxies" anime crap that airs Saturday AM.

I hated what little I saw of the first season, and only picked up with it this season because there was a Superman episode and I liked what happened there, and so have been watching it since. I don't even know how long it's been on, I saw a DVD for season four last week. And about a month ago I found the Superman figure for The Batman and now I'm collecting those toys, curses.

Truth be told, I can't say that The Batman sucks because my entire experience with it consists of a promotional comic I found lying around. It came out at a time where I had already abandoned first-run TV due to the fact that nothing I was interested in was on when I was able to watch it. I can say for sure I don't like some of the character designs, but I can't say for sure that I wouldn't feel differently had the show not come at a time of my life where I actually was able to watch an episode or two.

Perhaps I should crank up my purist impression to more patently ridiculous levels, but really, attacking someone because their cartoon is different from your cartoon is pretty fucking ridiculous on the face of it already.

I went to Gamestop in Lima, they told me every single copy of Smash Bros Brawl they had there(And I saw about 50 in a box behind the counter) were being saved for pre-orders, and I should come back in two days because they might get another shipment... maybe... probably not("Give us more trade-ins, though!"). I walked into a Walmart and and they just handed me a copy.

The evil corporation wins my business again. Funny how that keeps happening.

Adventure mode is pretty badass so far. It's like they created the ultimate crossover 2D game. Though I'm definitely anxious to unlock Snake and Sonic simply so I can- well, shoot Sonic with a machine gun.

What can I say. He has it coming.

But while I'm waiting for friends code bites, I too happened to catch "The Spectacular Spider-man." It was full of Awesome, or Win, or whatever the good thing to be full of is these days. Much more awesome than the horrible MTV series.

But is just me, or... does Eddie Brock seem a bit too nice for anything unfortunate to happen to him? At this point, I think if he really did become slimed by you know what, he'd become a Superhero.

Well, it does seem that they're playing fast and loose with the comics continuity, so I can see Eddie getting slimed, but lacking ANY semblance of control/dominance. We've already seen one instance of unexpected powers making someone go stark raving mad, after all.

Regardless, the show is pure awesome, and the theme song WON'T GET OUT OF MY HEAD.
